My wife, 12 year old daughter and I finally had our first family range day. My daughter needed to get some time on paper before deer hunting this Saturday, and I had some rifles/muzzleloaders to zero and test fire. This was my wife's first time shooting s rifle and she did great. My daughter did equally as well with her 20 gauge. Hopefully there will be some meat in the freezer Saturday night. It felt great to get some rounds downrange, and we can't wait to get back out. Here are some phots of the day out.

This is my wife's target from 50 yards on her first time with a rifle.

Here's the groups from 25 yards, rapid fire. Not bad for a $600 rifle and a Primary Arms red dot, not to mention a sub par shooter.

Me on my wife's Spike's lower/DTI upper.

My daughter on my Frankengun.

My wife's first rounds down range.

Looks like you all had fun.  My 11 year old daughter shot my AR for the first time last week and didn't want to stop.

When I first read the post title, I thought it was referring to the "first" family and had to take a look

Lol. Thanks, but they have a ways to go. They still need to learn their weapons well enough to clear malfuntions. Right now they depend on me when things go wrong.
