Looks like a bunch of vegetarians got together, and are attempting to be relevant in the world of chili.

They obviously fail, but we'll laugh at them anyway.

Actually.

The founders of this tard-fest were from Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Brazoria County.  And FTR?  It's in Round Rock, usually considered to be 'not Austin'.

Don't let that stop y'all though.

Unfortunately we canot seem to stem the flow of hippies seeking jobs because their own socialist utopia has none. They bring their "big shitty thinking" ideas with them.

Actually, I hail from Houston, and moved to Austin a while back.  The facts I posted are still valid and correct.  But you knew that.

i finally moved away from austin for good back in '01.  at that point, places like RR, cedar park, and hutto were a lot more old-school TX than austin proper.

have things changed significantly?

Darn-it; Austin is sucking in Round Rock!  We need to set the defensive line at Leander.  The rally point is at LeRue Tactical  Mark, fire up the grill; we can get a big fan and blow rib eye smoke towards Round Rock.

Chili Teams from all over Texas will delight you with an amazing array of delicious, healthy, meatless chilis as they compete for best chili and best booth!

I can understand the beans vs. no beans controversy, but Texas, what is with this 'meatless' stuff

Let's see.
Dell is located in Round Rock (not Austin)
The Dell Diamond?  Round Rock (again, not austin)
I'm sure the Mayor and City Council of Round Rock would agree with me.

Anyhow.  The original point was that this tard-fest didn't originate in Austin, and isn't being held in Austin.
