my best guess would be a total ice cap melt water level

So water levels rise, and most of the west coast is underwater.  But somehow a large landmass suddenly appears in the Atlantic and Pacific?

So Florida is dry and The mountain west is underwater?

While Atlantis and "Lumuria" rise from the waves.

The level of DERP in those apocalypse maps are phenomenal. Scary part is, millions believe in them.

At least we wouldn't have to listen to big city stinkers from California, and Houston would be gone, that's two big positives right there.

Most of those targets I understand.

What's the target just above the intersection of the borders of AL, MS and TN?

Here's one I've always found interesting.  Note that the radar shown at Grand Fork AFB is actually near Cavalier at the Cavalier AFS, ND.  Also, the RAF Fylindales radar is a three-sided radar, so the graphic should show a 360 degree sweep, not the limited view this pic shows.  It also doesn't show the single-side radar at Earesckson AS, on Shemya Island, AK.  Other than that, it's a pretty interesting pic.

I found another list which doesn't show any primary targets in TN, but has Chattanooga listed as a tertiary.

Looking at the map, it looks like a hit on Memphis (which would be urban renewal ) but the one closer to Alabama . . . not certain.  Too far west for Oak Ridge, not Redstone Arsenal (which I grew up believing was on the top 10 list of Soviet target lists while living in Huntsville).  There is nothing there  . . . that I know of.

Looks like the source of the map is here:  TYWKIWDBI

One person asked about TN and this was the response:

"Funder said...

I can't figure out what the Tennessee target is. Looks like Pickwick dam?
   March 6, 2011 11:25 AM
Ray Beeze said...

Tennessee targets included Oak Ridge Reservation (Oak Ridge, TN), Nuclear Fuel services (Erwin, TN) and Holston Army Ammunition Plant (Kingsport, TN)
   March 6, 2011 12:21 PM "

However, none of those locations are near the intersection as shown in the map, those are all in the NW part of the state.

Yea, we're pretty much fawked.

Unless of course, we have some spare AN/TPY-2 FBX's sitting around that happen to be staring in that direction.
