Ok guys im looking for a decent pair of waders for duck/goose hunting this season. These are the two that im looking at getting. The only issue I can think of with the supermags is that ill get to hot early season and with the lightmag ill get to cold late season. Anybody have experience with either pair?? Oh and I cant afford both!

Supermag

Lightmag

If you're actually in the water it'll suck heat away from you.  You'll want the more insulated ones.

Go with the Lightmag. Get them big enough that you can wear liner pants in cold weather.

Hunting waders is too easy, they don't run that fast and they're out in the water.

I usually wait until they're back by their trucks before I engage.

Thicker gets hotter, but it's also a little extra insurance against holes.

Meh, I never liked neoprene waders.  IMO breathables are simply better.  I wear long johns and a pair of heavy wool pants and socks underneath and I stay warm all day.  Neoprene waders are skin tight and make it really hard to layer underneath.  They are also a pain in the ass to take off.  I think most people would agree that unless your gonna be standing in freezing water for long periods at a time, a good pair of breathables would fare just fine.
