It was his Birthday present [paid for it] and he did well! Sniff, Dad is quite happy. He's a better pistol shooter then dear old Dad [better hand eye coordination] but I'll never admit that to him. 
We worked last night on one final practice session, he picks up things dang well and ate the centers out of the targets quite well for low ready, sight picture, shoot, at 7 yards with some double and triple taps. Unfortunately he was practicing with one of my 1911s and he ended up using a Hi Power in class. Of course, going from full power 230 grain .45 to WWB 9mm 115 grain is not a detriment in a class. [he had to as one cannot have someone else pistol in Mi, stupid law, especially when it's family and you're legal to own] He was practicing with a Colt 1991, [not all stock] need to get him shooting the Briley and see if his doubles speed up as better sights and grabs the palm better. |
