Our country has made the changes needed to give blacks equal rights with whites
or
Our country needs to continue making changes to give blacks equal rights with whites

Should read: Our country has made the changes needed to ensure blacks remain wards of the state or Our country needs to continue to oppress the blacks under the the guise of "equal" rights

There are more fucked up questions on that fucked up poll.

I guess I consider myself a conservatarian.

I'm more libertarian than anything but can't get behind some of the stuff the hardcore ones stand for.

Basically the smaller the guvment the better.

Well, maybe instead of Centrist or Moderate or anything else for people who don't neatly fit into conservative/liberal definitions, they call anyone who is a little different a Libertarian. It could be that they're going to trivialize the word until it means about the same as Independent (not much).

Or maybe there really are a higher than average percentage of Libertarians on Arfcom. Not exactly a scientific poll, after all.

Conservative on most issues except for 2 things.

Abortion- I believe that a woman should be able to do whatever she pleases with her body up until that baby would have been viable outside the womb.
Gay rights- If they want to get married, let them. Them "undermining the sanctity of marriage" is a bunch of BS. My marriage has nothing to do with who the people next door are fucking. Besides, it's not like heterosexual marriage is doing so well with it's 50% divorce rate.

Basically, I don't like the Government to be able to tell people what they can do with their lives, in private or public. For guns, I believe that I should be able to walk into Walmart and see an AR15 on the shelf for $850 and see an M16 on the shelf for $900, and be able to walk out with the M16 10 minutes later if I had the cash on me. For Economics, I'm very conservative so I trend towards less taxes and less regulations. For the government as a whole, I prefer a small one that provides for a common defense, and provides a venue for interstate commerce, and little more. People should not be able to make a living off of free money from the government tit.

I know you probably just wanted me to take the quiz and post the results, but it won't work since I'm at work, so I just decided to post it.

Bingo. Your date is off, but I agree with the sentiment. I'm a staunch libertarian, but that would classify me as a radical these days.

Such a loaded poll.  Do immigrants strengthen or hurt the country?

No answer for "Well...it depends.  Did they come here legally?  Are they trying to assimilate or are they more proud of the shithole they escaped?"  etc.

BTW It said I was a Libertarian which was not a big surprise.
