So I have a 4 year old PC. Still on XP. Dell with 500g hard drive, etc. Runs fine, will give it to my mom probably.
Looking at the newest Apple desktops with like 27" monitors and super cool keyboards. How tuff is it to get all my docs, email, and stuff from a PC to a Mac? Anyone here have an opinion on this transition? |

It's not too complicated or difficult, provided you don't have any applications that don't have Mac corollaries. These are fairly rare, unless you game a lot. If we're just talking about emails and such, as pointed out above, Microsoft Office 2011 is available for OSX, works very well (I use it every day), and you should be able to move all your data over with no issues. |

I've never seen it called that either. |
