| I have been collecting swords and knives from around the age of 5, quality swords and knives, from around the age of 18. I remember about 12 or so years ago cold steel producing the PROOF dvds showing their president and employees cutting rope and meat and other things. Well I just opened a package that was on my doorstep and inside was a new cold steel trench hawk and BY GOD a brand new copy of COLD STEEL ABSOLUTE PROOF!!!!!! I would just like to go on the record that there are few thing I find more entertaining and disturbing than watching a fat guy do bullshit weapon demonstrations on beef and pork. Sweet Infant Jesus I feel like im in high school again! |

Not all of it, some of their folders over the last few years have been pretty good (Recon 1 and Lawman come to mind even if it's cheaper steel), I hear their tomahawks are great and a fellow student of a martial arts dojo had a "usable" katana that he swore by (I never saw him cut anything with it, just use it for kata). I personally only own a tanto Recon 1 which is quite nice but that's as far as I go with them (maybe a trail hawk someday if I find it cheap), they could make the best stuff on Earth but those videos left a bad taste in my mouth many years ago. |
