whenever I think of those brave souls on Flight 93 who stood up and fought back my eyes fill with tears.
People whose only commonality was that they were on the same plane and thrust into the most dire of situations banded together in one of the bravest actions of sacrifice that citizens have ever undertaken they are the embodiment of The American Spirit. they are True Hero's Of all the things on this Sunday that will be going through my mind, admiration for those passengers Warriors of flight 93 will be at the forefront. Rest in Peace

My daughter was asking some questions abot 9/11 in advance of their school having a presentation and service on Monday.
She didn't understand how the planes flew into the towers, so I pulled up some videos and showed her. I showed her what happens after you expose structural steel and concrete to high heat for a prolonged period of time (troofers GTFO). I told her about the people who had just gone to work that day, and the police officers and firefighters who showed up at the towers after the crash as part of their work, and how many didn't make it home that night. Then I told her about the plane hitting the pentagon, and the people killed there. Then I mentioned about how there was a fourth plane that was going to be used to kill still more people, except a few folks got in the way.
