I have a one year old Dell desktop (Vista) and I need to run it on wireless internet.  I see that it doesn't work the same as my laptop.

Obviously, my computer skillz leave a lot to be desired...could someone help please???

Can it connect without buying anything or do I need a trip to ChinaMart?

Or a wireless usb adapter?

Try this first.

And a hint: a cable connection is usually a lot faster than a wireless one.
But if a cable is not an option, wireless is pretty easy to connect if you have a card or usb.

If you need a wireless adapter there are many to choose from. I just picked up one of these for a desktop.
