oven @ 400 deg, 20-25 min depending on thickness.  flip 1/2 way through, and keep an eye on it for your first batch to ensure correct doneness.

You said you didn't like all of the grease from fried foods, so I boiled it.

That's how I do it but I don't flip it.  Also, I lay the bacon on a cooling rack, set in a baking pan.

My wife likes to deep fry it in a pot with an inch of oil, then I save the grease to use on homemade fried things I cook occasionally like deer meat, fish, my Chick-fil-a style nuggets I make, etc.

In a pan, cooked to where it's a little crispy, but nowhere near burnt.  I also cut the slices in half beforehand so they cook more evenly.

Place bacon in a pile on a cold cast iron skillet, turn burner to medium, cover, stir and flip every couple minutes or so. Add black pepper and Dillo Dust towards the end.

Sometimes iron skillet.  Start w 1/2 c leftover bacon grease so the first batch does not burn.

If I don't feel like standing in front of the stove for 1/2 hour, it goes in the oven.

Drain on paper towels.

As to doneness, I like the fat to have a slight browned look but the bacon still limp.  Kids like it the same way.  Wife likes it burnt to a fucking crisp.  (Yankee)

Nuke for about 70 seconds for each piece. Let it set for a couple of minutes so it gets nice and crispy. It taste better cooked in a cast iron pan though.

In a 400F oven on a cooling rack in a baking pan.  Cover the pan with foil for easier cleanup.  Don't preheat.  Just put the bacon in and then turn on the oven.

Try it once, and you'll never go back to stovetop bacon.

why bother?
I just use a can opener to get at that yummy goodness in a can of Yoders bacon
Eat it right out of the can.
If I want it hot or a little more crispy, I take a dozen or so slices aranged in a paper towel and microwave it for about 30 sec to 1 min.
Put the rest in zip-loc bags and toss in the fridge
