Why is making a resume so hard? I have written 20 page papers over some of the most boring articles and crap, but I cant for the life of me seem to come up with a decent resume! This sucks!!! I think I'm just gonna go for my Ph.D so I can put it off a few more years!

It's not that hard...

Keep it short and to the point...

Adjust it to the job you are applying for...

I donno, but i agree with you.

I feel the same way about writing letters to congress.

What have you done of serious value?

If the answer is "nothing", then consider an internship or some other entry level position.

Talk to some recruiters in the field you want to be in. They'll know what format to use, etc.

Also, cheat.. Google for resumes in the field you want to be in. Download a few examples, look at them, see what you like and what you don't.
