Going to go see it today. Loved the old 80s original, especially with Roddy McDowell in it.

This one looks a lot different. Anyone else going to see it?

Tag for review. I liked the original also and hope this one is decent. Rotten Tomatoes shows 74% liked it.

Not sure how I feel about it based on the previews. It wasn't a scary movie, but it looks like they're trying to make it a scary movie. If they wanted to reheat the concept as an actual scary movie, they should have just taken the storyline and given it a fresh title without the baggage of the old. I'm guessing it's a calculated move to attract us old fogies who remember the original, as well as tap the younger audience who gets into the modern horror flicks.

I'm sick of all the damn remakes.

Fuck you Holly weird, I'm staying home for every damn one of them from now on. Want me to go to the theater again? Make something fucking original for a change. I'll Wait for the remakes to hit the discount shelf at WallyWorld.

Saw it. Very enjoyable and the 3D was fun too.

The Jerry Dandridge from the original makes a cameo.

Great to see on the big screen.
