She would be a great bar singer, but as a concert hall performer, meh...  The difference between amateur and professional is a often a wide gulf.

If you want to keep it British and classical, there's Amy Nutall: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Nzv4MGnJ_M

She's got a good voice but I wouldn't put her in the ranking of great voice.

These are what I would call great voices.

She's a biggen, I'd hit it and she can make a me a sammich. For a follow up I'll motor boat her back tits while she sings Ave Maria in the shower.

I think the voice she has now is what makes her enjoyable to listen to.  She has talent, but she hasn't been professionally buffed and polished and that's what sets her apart.

Loved both of her albums...But I think that 19 is the best one so far...Glad she is voicing how she feels about the industry...

Her first CD was a lot better then the second. She seems like a pretty good performer to me if her youtubes are any indication. There's one where she's playing the bass and singing, that's all the instrumentation there is. Awesome.
Here it is, best for last.

I listened to the first video in the OP and the others that are suggested after the video plays. She has an amazing talent and a great voice. I think she sings wonderfully. I'm glad someone picked up on the humor, after I posted I thought that might be a little harsh.

I can't get past the lame lyrics. "Rolling in the deep," really? Like rolling with the whales? What is that even supposed to mean? Is that a metaphor for emotional depth? Sorry, not something I associate "rolling" with.

"Bringing me out the dark", yeah fuck prepositions, hello ebonics.

"See how I leave with every piece of you" *gag*

"And you played it to the beat" - what beat? There's a definite article there but "the beat" is completely undefined.

The last verse is pretty good but the rest is difficult to hear.

Can't stand her. That is one of the few songs that makes me want to crush kittens under my workboots.

Read an interview with her, and she was talking about how she met Sarah Palin at Saturday Night Live.  I don't remember her exact words about Palin, but they weren't flattering, and she said she was wearing an Obama pin the whole time.

Seems weird.  How many Americans go around wearing British politician paraphernalia?

I like her sound. but I dont get into anything technical
if its a song I dont get bored 30 seconds into it then it is a good song

however they have played that rolling in the deep song smooth into the ground
