Quoted: Quoted: Good, not great. With some coaching, she could get there... In your opinion, who has a "great" voice? She would be a great bar singer, but as a concert hall performer, meh... The difference between amateur and professional is a often a wide gulf. If you want to keep it British and classical, there's Amy Nutall: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Nzv4MGnJ_M If you want to keep it British and soulful, there's Joss Stone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_sHGcf8kcI&feature=related |

Quoted: 1. She can sing. 2. She's a huge lib. 3. Would not hit. I have no idea what her political stance on everything is, but I read an article about her before that made me crack a smile. |

She has talent, but she hasn't been professionally buffed and polished and that's what sets her apart. |

Quoted: She's a biggen, I'd hit it and she can make a me a sammich. For a follow up I'll motor boat her back tits while she sings Ave Maria in the shower. ![]() ![]() Her first CD was a lot better then the second. She seems like a pretty good performer to me if her youtubes are any indication. There's one where she's playing the bass and singing, that's all the instrumentation there is. Awesome. Here it is, best for last. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTu1TShzxro |

There's one where she's playing the bass and singing, that's all the instrumentation there is. Awesome. I listened to the first video in the OP and the others that are suggested after the video plays. She has an amazing talent and a great voice. I think she sings wonderfully. I'm glad someone picked up on the humor, after I posted I thought that might be a little harsh. |

I can't get past the lame lyrics. "Rolling in the deep," really? Like rolling with the whales? What is that even supposed to mean? Is that a metaphor for emotional depth? Sorry, not something I associate "rolling" with. "Bringing me out the dark", yeah fuck prepositions, hello ebonics. "See how I leave with every piece of you" *gag* "And you played it to the beat" - what beat? There's a definite article there but "the beat" is completely undefined. The last verse is pretty good but the rest is difficult to hear. |

Quoted: Read an interview with her, and she was talking about how she met Sarah Palin at Saturday Night Live. I don't remember her exact words about Palin, but they weren't flattering, and she said she was wearing an Obama pin the whole time. Quoted: 1. She can sing. 2. She's a huge lib. 3. Would not hit. I have no idea what her political stance on everything is, but I read an article about her before that made me crack a smile. Seems weird. How many Americans go around wearing British politician paraphernalia? ![]() |
