Will I have to pay my last statment if they do?
Left them last month after 10 years of holding their visa card. Every fucking time I went anywhere on vacation they would suspend my account for fraud. The capper was last month, on vacation in Durango with the family and my card is declined. Turns out they sent us new cards ( unkonwn by us ) a few days before we left and shut our current one off the last day of our trip. fucked up all my auto pays, couldnt get into my rv storage etc. They are completly and utterly incompetent fuckheads over there. good riddance! |

Quoted: Theirs is the only credit card that gives me a decent rate. They don't have credit unions in PA? ![]() My CU-issued Visa is only 10%, and I don't get charged interest if I pay off the balance before the payment is due. I paid something like $10 in interest last year. |

Quoted: Doesn't that Obama sycophant Warren Buffett own a ton of BofA? or is it WellsFargo? I hope he crashes and burns and loses every fucking penny he has ever made. I hope the Gates Foundation doesn't get anything from him when he kicks the bucket. Wells Fargo. |

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.
Thomas Jefferson, (Attributed) 3rd president of US (1743 - 1826) |

Zero Hedge flaming the fire. The markets will stay on fire until the governments act, this has been the story for the last 3 years, this is what happens when you have nationalized economies. Now we wait for the Bernanke to ease the pay like in Oct of last year. However like a patient desensitized to morphine, we need bigger and bigger hits to keep the world economies from keeling over. Liquidity Crisis II inbound. |

My CU-issued Visa is only 10%, and I don't get charged interest if I pay off the balance before the payment is due. I paid something like $10 in interest last year. My BoA card is 5.74%. That's a big difference depending on the person and situation. I don't carry a balance (or use it at all, for that matter), but it's nice to have "just in case." Yes, I have been tempted to clean out AIM Surplus on more than one occasion....

Quoted: I fucking HATE BOA. They lost my business as a TEENAGER. It was the first checking account I ever had, and I was appalled at the customer service. I dropped them, and I still find it amazing that after all these years, they're hated for many of the same reasons. |

I dropped them, and I still find it amazing that after all these years, they're hated for many of the same reasons. I had them during my first divorce. My ex had check writing, debit, and deposit access only on my account. I had it in writing that she wasn't allowed to modify the account in anyway. She told them a sob story, after I had her removed, and again, I had it in writing. Teller bought it, let her drain and close the account. Then my checks hit. They blamed me, threatened me, etc. Had to take them a court order to make them stop. It ended up being several hundred dollars. It took me 7 years to get that cunt to pay. |

I know I am going to be flamed for this but BoA is about a BILLION times better than Wells Fargo. Don't even get me started on those asshats. *Although I do have to say, when I was pissed at WF and moved my accounts to BoA, I told the guy opening my account of my tales of woe, he said "It's called Big Bank Syndrome. We have it too. There will be times that we may piss you off... if so, call me" So far its been 10 years and they haven't done anything major to piss me off. Like accusing me of a crime such as WF did. |

BOA is not collapsing; the equities market is in turmoil. This. Funny how turds who have no understanding of the market think they are dancing on graves, making up for a an overdraft fee(or some such) they got years prior. I'm personally buying into BAC now. Cheap if you ask me. |

wait; i thought we had to panic and give them billions of dollars so they wouldn't fail? what's going to happen to the people who demanded we bail BoA out? That was a band-aid on a sucking chest wound. Going to need more band-aids. Except, they are out of them. |
