Need to run cable to my cable modem but don't want a shitty drill a hole through the floor/wall installation. I want to put a "remodel" style junction box in the wall and run the cable through the crawl space.
I'm thinking make hole for junction box, drill a hole through subfloor/sole plate, insert coat hanger from crawlspace up, find coat hanger, tie cable to crawlspace end of coat hanger, pull through wall, install junction box. Any other tips? |

| What you are looking for is a fish tape. Be careful fishing from the floor up, you are a lot more likely to hit electrical or water/gas that way.Fish Tape $15 |
