Ok after the Fammyman thread and everybody offering to listen I think I'm going to start a thread where you can put your name down if your up for listening to another Arfcomers venting even if you don't know what to say just be there to listen.
So if anyone is up for this sign up below (I'm not a doctor, counselor, or medical professional, I am a mere mortal with good intentions, and that has lost too many people to suicide) If I needed to get approval for this type of thing I am sorry for not doing so

I am more than willing to talk to anyone about alcoholism and addiction, anytime day or night. My wife and I got sober almost 6 years ago and we know more than most what the despair and hopelessness that comes with the bottoms of addiction are like. My wife and I give talks at treatment centers and jails as well as help people get sober and stay sober every day.
I have shared many IM's with many people on here about them or their family members and how to get help over the years. I don't hide the fact I am in recovery in hopes it will help someone else if they need a place to go for a solution. If you want to talk, I am willing to chat, no questions asked 24 hours a day.
