After searcing unproductively on the web , it suddenely occured to me, ask the hive. Does anybody know of any websites dedicated to childrens toy spring rocking horses ?  My folks got a couple of old broken horses and are thinking of trashing them. I thought I might fix 'em up if replacement parts are reasonable and can be found, or at least find a home for them rather than them ending up in a dump. There's got to be a collectors site out there for something like these I figure. Thanks.

Do a search for "midnight"   we had one in the late 40s , early 50s with that name.

The parents trashed it.  Yes, they are worth money.

I remember bouncing those so hard I could ride them around the house.

I don't know what I don't know as far as repairing them. That's why I was hoping for a website or something so I could look things over and asses things.

Not so much looking to make money as much as just not wanting to see them wind up in the trash.

+1 to that lol.

Is that why they stopped making them?  Always hated when the wooden handles would crack the plastic around the horses head.  I think I went through three of'em lol.

Or you go sailing head over ass off the front end. Between the springs and this, one got tired of riding the horsy awfully quick.

Then there are the kids who kept going back.
