I just listed a cell phone on ebay and received the following message from a buyer. Is this in any way legit?

"Would you accept $105 shipped? I can pay for it right now! Please end the listing to the highest bidder (me) and revise the eBay invoice making it $105 shipped, I will pay asap thanks! Check my feedback for reassurance!"

Just tell him no you will not end the auction early...Unless you optioned for best offer when you opened your auction

If you end early, will he still be the official winner, or will this be off eBay?

Does he have decent feedback?

If no to either, no to sale as requested.

Either do this, or tell him you do not end auctions early. As a rule, I do not end my ebay auctions early, but YMMV.

He does have decent feedback, and he is the current high-bidder, but I agree with you fellas, I don't feel right ending the auction early. Something doesn't seem right about the transaction, so I will ride it out and see what I can get for it.
