What is terrible about this article is that the journalists are too STUPID to even ask the right questions! While he mentions the ban on AC-130's use in daylight, and the distance that the "fast mover" fighter bombers had to cover to deliver air support he is too ignorant to ask the important questions.. Like why there were no A-10's at Bagram at this time- they would not arrive till two weeks after this mess when Anaconda was virtually over. In the A-10s absence why werent Marine Harriers flying from Gardez? Why were there not enough Apachies in theater to provide a pair to escort the Rangers TRAP mission?
