WHY DON YOU PUT YOUR FUCKING PHONE NUMBER ON IT SO I CAN FUCKING CALL YOU ABOUT IT!!!! ETA: Ive put my number on CL for everything Ive sold. No bad experiences yet (and I sold a lot of stuff after my divorce) I kept my penis pump though. |

Fantasy world I know. I know how you feel. I have bought and sold cars on Craigslist, and I do my best to answer every email, when selling, and have learned that Google Voice is your friend. I have a Google Voice number that I put in the add that I can point to whatever phone I want to ring, and as soon as it is sold turn it off. I have had a few guys get pissed off with me when I was selling vehicles because I do believe in first come first served, and I leave my ads up until I have cash in hand. The last time I sold a vehicle I had several responses within an hour, all of them promised to be out in the morning with cash in hand, and I told them all "the first person with cash gets it, I can't pass up cash, so call before you come out to make sure I still have it". A guy showed up with $50 more than I asked at 0730 in the morning, he got the car. Another guy I had spoken with shows up at 1000 AM, never called ahead, and got pissy because the car was sold. I hate it when I find something I am interested in and the seller doesn't respond, or worse, two weeks later responds. |

YES, IM SURE THE CAR IS GONE. Ive written it off. The second car was a 97 Cadillac that needed a head gasket. I called this guy a little after the ad went up, he said he had about 6 people call him. He told me to call at ten Saturday morning, I did that, no answer. He calls back as Im driving down the road to go diving. Told him Id call when I got back in town but I know he would have it sold by then. MY POINT!!!! If youre selling something and only post the CL email, FINE, but, you should know by now that some emails go to your spam folder, CHECK THE FUCKING THING!!!!!!
