You mean there is a newer, faster version?

I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems. AR15.com, Amazon, Wikipedia, and a myriad of other sites won't load right with FF4. It's garbage. Amazon.com causes a crash every time I open the site. This doesn't happen in Chrome or FF3.

I'm running FF 4.0 and don't have those problems

I do notice the FF 4.0 tends to cache everything, takes a lot of time for CCleaner to clear out FF's cache

Switch to Chrome, and you problems will be gone.

FF has become the suck.

Really? Didn't they just release 4 with a fucked up interface?

The problem with the new interface was that they moved the "Refresh Button".

The other and biggest change and PITA,and what the OP is experiencing...

is that  Firefox4.0  tries to maintain connection to a website, especially anything related to FlashPlayer and Adobe crashes, and runs "plug-in container.exe",so it doesn't bring the entire Browser down.

At times ,it runs several instances of it. Some experience major CPU usage.

https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=plug-in%20container.exe&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&source=hp&channel=np

Open Task Manager, (Alt + Ctrl  +Del)  and you will see it.

ETA,
I just saw Firefox is using much more RAM

I was having problems with my IE yesterday. I couldn't make new posts or post in anyone elses threads.

I downloaded FireFox and everything seems to be normal now. Don't know what happened.

Yeah, the one they lifted off of Opera.

FF4 has been nothing but problems for me and I think the new interface sucks balls.  Every time I go to to work FF4 crashes while I am out.  Its not even doing anything.
