I just bought my first flagpole (Uncommon Telescoping 20 footer) for my front lawn.  I need to find some quality made 3X5 flags not the cheap crap.

Don't Tread on me Flag
POW Flag
Betsy Ross Flag

Flags like that that are quality made.

Yeah, go by what the website selling them says as opposed to people that actually have a clue.

Not sure where you are going to source them. But, I can tell you to stay away from the flea market silk-screen type flags made of thin nylon. One good day of wind and the corners will be torn to shreds I promise you. They also fade like nobody's business.

In front of the unit we had a nice storm flag get shredded not too long ago, and it was not cheap either. So much for being a storm flag. The cotton flags, the kind you would drape on a coffin, are also terrible to fly outdoors. The colors run and make a nice mess in the snow if you try to fly one outside, then everyone knows exactly what you did.

I seem to remember buying a really good flag out of the Sears catalog years ago for my dad to fly in front of his house. That, of course, dates when I placed the order. Did a quick search and they still carry the Govt Spec American Flags, and a good POW flag as well.

Uhhh  Thanks man,  I would have never guessed to use Google...........   I already tried that, I figured folks on this site love their flags as much as their guns and I wanted to hear what works best instead of looking up a bunch of flags that all claim to be top quality....

Google search something...... no way.............

I used flags.com once and was pleased with the experience.

You want to shop here:

I purchased a number of flags here.  They are of the absolute highest quality, very reasonably priced, and shipping was prompt.

I recommend them based on my experience there.  Someone here recommended them some time ago and I followed their advice.

Glad I did, I wouldn't even consider any other place at this point.
