So I went into Walmart today and picked up an IPad2 64 gig. I have not opened it yet and wonder if it is worth the 700 dollar price tag. Feedback please.. |

Why would you buy something for $700 and then ask others if it is worth it? They are sold out everywhere and I jumped on this one today. I can take it back if others that have used one say it sucks... |

I think you will really like it, but if you are planning on it being your personal lap top. You might be a little disappointed...
I'm sure it will lose half it's value in the next year due to Apple coming out with new products all the time with minimal improvements. O well, I still plan to buy an Iphone and I am on a 15" pro right now. |

picked up a 3g 64mb at the Apple store Friday. My wife REALLY liked it. ––- but honestly - appears to be a good device, but not a multitasker. My wife is enjoying it, but because of it is not near her computer much. We used IM to keep in touch during the day - but the pad does not run 2 apps at once - so no IM. |

I went to buy the base 16 GB last week with the understanding they'd be $399.
After seeing they jacked the price up to $500 for the BASE model I walked out of the the store content to do anything the iPad can do on my phone. Which I just used to post this. $500 doll hairs will buy an awful lot of Yugo 7.62. |

You can get a refurb 16gb iPad 1 for $350 at the apple store or a 32gb for $429. |

They were discounted by $100 each model. They did not increase the price of the ipad 2 models. Apple usually maintains the same price point and has for years. They just up the specs when a new model comes out. Patrick |
