Well, it just goes to show that any idiot can get elected to congress as long as they promise to take money from people who earned it and give it to people who did not… So…. Reducing the government workforce costs the tax payers money…. Taking steps to help reduce the likelihood that assistance money will be used to support someone’s drug habit will cost the tax payers money?????? This woman must be tipping the IQ scale somewhere in the high 50’s... And what the hell is a reciprocant???? "The courts found that random testing is unconstitution”?????? When a major point of her debate has nothing to do with said debate(she kept bringing up the governor cutting jobs) you know she doesn't have a leg to stand on. I'd be interested in seeing how much this would end up costing tax payers as I know it will have an upfront cost. The question is will it cut costs in the long run by kicking people off the program.
Also I had to take a drug test for a retail job while in college. Everyone starting did. They reserved the right to pretty much have you retested at anytime. Not sure what that idiot is going on about saying against it. I see nothing wrong with random testing for people taking advantage of government housing projects or assistance. |

I just don't understand how someone could be against this law. By being against it, you are stating that you believe drug use (i.e. illegal activity) is acceptable behavior. Furthermore, this behavior is deserving to be rewarded by the government so that more of this behavior can continue.
