Normally I would ask this in hometown, but this has more traffic than over there and I would appreciate a faster answer.

My family, being my mom, dad and 20 year-old sister, and I are in Mobile AL for a couple of days after spending some time in Orlando at Universal Studios.

What should we see, do and eat?

Not really interested in beaches, more of sight-seeing

The Alabama and the rest of the stuff is really the pinical for sight seeing there IMO.  Dauphin Island had a pretty good aquarium but it is only good for an hour (two if you really like fish) there is also a civil war era fort on Dauphin Island.

A trip to the Naval Aviation Museum in Pcola also rocks.

Head over to the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, probably a little over an hour away and WELL worth your time.

After that, or before depending on your time, head over to Joe Patties for some good sushi for lunch.

If you wanted to sight see, why did you go to Mobile? The beaches have some cool old forts (Fort Pickens), lighthouses and such.

I agree. It is free but they do charge for the IMAX movie if you want to see it and they have a donation box at the entrance. Take lots of pics. There are also a couple of forts in the area but you would need to look them up. I know there is one on the Naval base in P'cola.

The ladies would enjoy Bellingraph Gardens and Home. You might, as well.

Wintzells downtown or The Original Oysterhouse on the causeway or at Gulf Shores for some good seafood.

Do they have a "No Farting" sign in that location too?
