Normally I would ask this in hometown, but this has more traffic than over there and I would appreciate a faster answer.
My family, being my mom, dad and 20 year-old sister, and I are in Mobile AL for a couple of days after spending some time in Orlando at Universal Studios. What should we see, do and eat? |

The Alabama and the rest of the stuff is really the pinical for sight seeing there IMO. Dauphin Island had a pretty good aquarium but it is only good for an hour (two if you really like fish) there is also a civil war era fort on Dauphin Island. A trip to the Naval Aviation Museum in Pcola also rocks.

Eat at Felix's Fish Camp nearby. Check out the outdoor mall in Daphe/Fairhope. Check out the old fort downtown. Check out the Battlehouse hotel. Pensacola is nearby as well.

NAS Pensacola is well worth the drive Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile I agree. It is free but they do charge for the IMAX movie if you want to see it and they have a donation box at the entrance. Take lots of pics. There are also a couple of forts in the area but you would need to look them up. I know there is one on the Naval base in P'cola. |
