11.49 a lb for New York Strip? What the Hell? Even for Choice they are charging you a 75% mark up. I get less than a dollar more a lb for the same cut of meat, already cut into steak with the fat and gristle trimmed off. This is CAB ( whatever that means, probably lower quality ) I know it's a rip off, that is why I rarely eat beef. Even ground beef is $5 / lb That is why, when I can, I buy in bulk and cut it up myself. I usually buy the top or bottom round roast on sale for $2.99 / lb, cut that into steaks and take the tenderizer blades to it. My preference is venison, but I am all out of everything but burger. This part of the country sucks in every way imaginable. |

For 93/7 I only get 3.99 a lb. 80/20 is 3. 49 85/15 is 3.69 73.27 is 2.79 What State are you in where they are raping you so bad? |
| CAB is Ceritified Angus Beef.... even at that...... those prices are an extreme rip off. Angus Premium is only worth it for fine steaks. For ground meat? No way. 2.99 a lb is a good sale price for those roast, you should get a grinder and make you own ground round. |

I don't know what % fat that price is. |
