[ARCHIVED THREAD] - I hate On Call

I don't know why I keep taking these. Every night I have a shitty night and get bombed with calls and vow to NEVER take another on call again. Then find myself signing up more and more. I guess the money is good at $150 a night but I ain't getting any sleep tonight. IT is a fickle b!tch!

Pretty much provide all end user/server/backup support. Work for a medical software company.

Tonight a site went completely down, shortly there after another site had to roll their Bridgehead backup server back 5 months.
