I have been listening to NiN forever.
One of the best concerts I have ever been too. Just another fading fucking reminder of who I really am. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEW8riKU_tE Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Trent is still making interesting music under the name How To Destroy Angels. His wife is singing and his long time producer is the bass player.

Saw NiN and Bowie on the Outside Tour they did back in '95.
Chicago was meh for Bowie (he had an irritated throat and apologized to the audience) but great for Reznor and company... on a whim a friend scored tickets to the StL show so we road tripped down there for an overnight and stayed with friends of mine after the show. It was awesome. Got back and was about 5 minutes late for Medic class (normally a big no-no). When I entered and apologized for being late the instructor (a Lt. from a neighboring department) queried me as to whether I had a good excuse for my tardiness. I opened up my jacket and showed him the tour t-shirt and told him I was literally less than 3 minutes from a 5 hour car ride back from StL. He was a Bowie fan and let it slide. |

I really like this one, which apparently came out long after my 'NiN/Tool/Rammstein' phase... NIN and Tool are never a phase! |

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile i belive APC was dropped. i kinda like Puscifer, i think its kinda Tool's thing to release a album every 100,000 years or so. lol either way Maynard is a genius, Trent is really good too. |

I used to really like NIN, but Trent Reznor's politics have increasingly pissed me off since 2000 or so.
Why can't entertainers shut the fuck up and act/perform music/whatever without interjecting their libtard opinions? With that said, I think he's one of the more talented musicians out there and really enjoy the music. Especially The Fragile, which I think is an amazing album. |

This track is way too fucking short: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBOhQamGGuI I've got about 20 NIN songs on my iPod but my only beef with them is that their music ranges from "AWESOME" to "NOISE." ![]() |

I really became a fan when With Teeth came out. I know alot of long-time fans didn't like it, but before that album I liked them but wouldn't have seen them in concert. After With Teeth came out though, I got a chance to catch a concert...best concert ever!
Then they came out with another album after that, and both it and the concert that followed sucked. Shortly after, the band went on hiatus. |

NIN has been my #1 favorite band since PHM. Will never change. The site is undergoing a total rebuild, but you guys should check out ThisOneIsOnUs: http://thisoneisonus.org/ Essentialy the NIN community wanted to give something back to Trent. When he released The Slip for free, he said "Thanks fans, this one is on me". The community responded by banding together, taking hundreds of overlapping HD videos of three nights of the Lights in the Sky tour, and then making a video mosaic of all three nights, compiled 100% from fan HD footage. They then released it on DVD and Bluray, essentially free of charge (to get free copies, you had to help with the distribution). I got my copies of the DVD after an agonizing 6 week wait, and its the best live NIN footage I have ever seen. |
