I've never seen that pic before. I just jumped headfirst into a .50 Beowulf and am acquiring reloading components. Finding brass available in stock is proving to be near impossible at the moment.
You guys keep your pics coming! |

I've never seen that pic before. I just jumped headfirst into a .50 Beowulf and am acquiring reloading components. I'll have around 200 factory loaded rounds shortly, but lack about another $50 in reloading gear to get me started. Got a Lee press and dies, with their reloading manual. Here's a few more pics because I think these projectiles just look bad ass. http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e338/70satvert/IMGP2576.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e338/70satvert/IMGP2581.jpg You guys keep your pics coming! Awesome. Reloading stuff is next on my list of things to get. I haven't even started yet to buy anything yet. It might be a while though... being a broke college student will do that What do you have that is shooting .50 Beowulf? |
| I picked up a 16" AA Entry upper from JSE Surplus about two weeks ago. On a lower with black MIAD and UBR that I want to change for foliage. So far, I've only added a foliage midlength MOE hg. Waiting on front/rear MBUS. Going to have Kings Armory thread the bbl and install their KA-450 brake. Right now, it feels like a 12 gauge slug gun with 335 gr HP's. Only shot it 3 times so far because I don't have sites yet but wanted to function test it. 10 rounds fit in a 30 round Pmag and feed with no problems without modification. 7 rounds fit in a Pmag 20, but the "nub" that goes between the forward part of the follower needed to be filed/cut off on them. It doesn't effect feeding 5.56. I haven't modified the feed lips on any of the mags I've tested. I've just cycled full mags through the upper with the firing pin removed to prevent any potential chaos while doing this indoors. |

Thought so It'll hit a pie tin at 100 yards 6 out of 10 times. The previous owner ignored corrosive ammo cleaning procedeures so the bore is a little rough in spots. After slugging it I discovered that the bullet engages the rifiling at the leade travels down the bore about a third of the rifling and then free floats about an inch before engaging it again. |
