Four Dos Equis with dinner and three Heinekens later, I've got a nice beer buzz. Anyone else abusing their liver? You could make me feel better about abusing mine by speaking up. |

Just poured my first two fingers of Makers Mark 46. But the George T. Stagg has been givin me the stink eye since Monday Is that 46 any better/different than the regular Maker's Mark? I'm out of Maker's so tonight its Old Grand Dad 117 for me. 46 is to me a smoother, less smoke more friut version of Makers Mark. From my last tour of the distillery I think it is ready-to-bottle Maker Mark they pour into a second charred barrel studded with French Oak staves used in the production of white wines, and aged for another 6-9months. It mellows the burn while upping the proof somehow.. |
