Suppressors?
What is the range I'll be looking at, cheapest to highest end? Also, is there a difference in price generally between, 5.56 and 7.62?

Tac-16's are pretty cheap but they're at the bottom end of suppressors. Best bang for your buck IMHO is Yankee Hill Machine. Once you're looking at those you're in the 500 range. You can go all the way up to about 13-1500ish with Surefires, knights armament and so on.

Some companies you may want to check out:

Yankee Hill Machine (YHM)

Advanced Armament Co. (AAC)

Ops Inc

Knights Armament

Surefire

SWR

SAS suppressors

Gemtech

I'll throw out Griffin armament since I own one.  I'll go ahead and don my flame suit since there's a lot of hate for the owner here.

Remember, OP. Buy once, cry once.

expensive and not really worth the money. The Knights can is an older design and honestly, there are other platforms that suppress better for less money.  The Surefire cans are overpriced, just like their flashlights.........

ETA: Yes there is generally a price difference between the 556 cans and 762 cans. Ask yourself this, how many 30 cal firearms do you own and how many 556 firearms do you own? If you have an equal amount but have limited funds I would advise you to seriously consider purchasing the 762 can first and using it on your 556 platforms for the time being. You'll be sacrificing some suppression and gaining some weight but not a whole heck of a lot.

We have a whole forum for suppressors, check it out.

Definitely look at Yankee Hill. I have their 308 suppressor and use it on several guns. Very versatile.

There's a suppressor forum in the Armory.
