So I'm selling my AR in EE, but I have to ship it. How does the buyer transfer money to my Paypal? I've never used it before.

Do you have a paypal set up?

Need to do that first. Then they use your email address to send you the money.

You will get an email, log onto paypal and the money will be there.

You should probably do some research and find another method.

Paypal will lock both accounts if they find out firearms are involved as that is prohibited.

Don't let PayPal find out you are selling a gun.

THIS.

Not to mention PayPal will rape you in fees.

Find another way.

I've sold quite a few banned items via PayPal, and the trick is to be discreet (both the seller and buyer).  I've never had any problems, and you can get around the fees by sending money as a gift.  Of course, I know a lot of people get their panties in a bunch over PayPal, but it has worked great for me over the years.  Reality is, there is no quicker method for payment.  But, be warned, if you have any kind of issue, don't go to PayPal for a resolution on a forbidden item.  All that will get you is a locked account!

BS.  All you have to do is add the fee to the selling price, which means the buyer is covering the fee.  That, in no way, is "raping".  Its a service, and just like any other service, it costs money to use.  You also have the option of having the buyer send the money as a gift, which results in no fee for either party.

Forget Gaypal.  Have the guy send you a US Postal Money Order.  It takes a day or two to get it, but it is well worth it.

Set up paypal, or don't. You don't need a paypal account to have money sent to you. They can send you money by check, bank transfer, CC, just depends on how they set up their paypal account, but that doesn't change how you get the money. Well, other then the echeck, which can take up to 14 days to clear, but you don't loose 3% they charge for processing fee.
