Hey all. Picking this one because it has the most views and posts out of the 4. |

I think Sean Bean was a great choice for Eddard Stark but could have done it without the fake Scottish accent and he needed a black hair dye job. Catelyn looked too old and haggard. I know she was suppose to be a little older then Eddard but come on. Cerseri Lannister is suppose to be jaw droppingly gorgeous. One of the most beautiful women in the Westeros. Not so much from what I have seen in the first episode. The whore that Tyrion was bagging looked better then the friggin Queen. I thought Robert Barathron looked the closest to his depiction in the novels. Everyone other then the kids was too old compared to their descriptions in the book. But all in all I think the 1st episode was great. Might have to re-read the novel. The next novel in the series A Dance with Dragons is suppose to be out July 12, 2011. |

Yeah, about that due date-where'd you get that––George has missed more publishing dates than any author I know of. Used to be pissed, hell it was 3-4 years ago when he said he was just about done. I've probably forgotten most of the details from the previous books and would be lost when, and if, the new one comes out. Fuck that hairy old nerd––I'm tired of waiting on him. |

Camelot just didn't sit right with me, the kid seemed too young.
Kharn Agreed, Arthur is very lackluster, and this whole thing with him not being able to give up the girl is making me dislike him even more. Game of Thrones was awesome, but a little bit confusing for me. The walkers were by far the most awesome part. |

I could have done without the brother bending over his twin sister but I guess that's what the kids want to see these days.
Because incest has never happened in the real world, right? Not like, for hundreds of years in European royalty, right? I think it nails home the idea that the family is real messed up and intoxicated with power. |

I agree with the poster who thinks Arthur (Camelot) is a bit too young, and I also feel he's rather immature (but that's probably the point). The fact that he shagged his Champion's bride is callous at best, and that he tried to pursue further is even more reprehensible. Now, to the matter at hand.....
GOT, without having read the books, thus far is pretty fascinating. The political intrique and verbage makes it kind of tough to follow at times, but maybe that's because I'm just as equally intrigued by the BEWBIES! After the first episode, I was wondering about the fascination with doggie style back then, but like another previous poster relates, it's kind of ingrained in the plot; I'm sure it's a submissive thing for the horde, but taking the Queen from the rear, well, I guess you'd rather not look your sister in the face when you're pounding her in the can. The "Creepy King Wanna-Be" who pimped his sister, I'm sure will be around a while since his plot seems to be critical to the story, but I kind of like how his sister has wound her way into at least a liveable situation. I just really would like to know, why they keep pounding at poor Jon Snow about being Stark's Bastard. Seems like a decent kid with every good intention, but everyone doesn't want to let him forget he's a BASTARD. ETA: And, I agree with previous poster: Stark's wife is a bit on the haggard side. He probably doesn't deserve Gueneviere (in Camelot..... she's HAWT), but this one's kind of sour looking.....

I think it's a interesting show. They did a great job on the "the wall". It makes you cold just to look at it.
LOL...When the "the bastard" was on top the wall next to the brazer it looked so cold it made me want to warm myself next to the fire. Odd but the "horde" leader reminds me of the big mute villain guy in Superman 2. |
