With silver at almost $41 an ounce, what do you think these bad boys would go for?

I do not know the history behind them at all.  My dad used to buy silver on occassion and these were in a stack he had.  I only found 4 of them, but there may be more...........

No, they are not for sale, I just thought some of you may be interested in seeing them.

Shouldn't that coin be made out of lead?

They are dated 1974.  As far as my dad remembers he bought them at that time.

I did a quick Google search and got no hit.

I could not find anything about them either.  I would guess it was a limited supply that no one seemed to care about back in the day.  My dad has always been into guns, but he seems to have bought them just because he was buying silver, not because of what was printed on them.......

I just thought they were kind of neat.  Some people prefer "real" coins.  He has a bunch of those as well, many from the 1800's, but they seem to be valued more on condition than anything else.

The spirit is there, but the quality isn't.  The blank does not even appear to be polished well.
