My first thought? "Wow, another fool that has more money than brains". Smart cars are just plain foolish. My 98 Neons gets the same gas mileage, produces nearly 160HP, comfortably seats four, can seat five without too much trouble, and from my own personal experience is going to protect me from serious injury if I get hit by a large American gas guzzler made in the mid seventies. Price is about the same for a Smart and most traditional Subcompact cars.
Other than that I would expect a teacher to see why that license plate was a bad idea, but being familiar with the product of their work, it is not surprising they didn't. |
