It's time to get a new labtop for my wife.  I'm pretty good about finding good deals on good computers.  I don't usually buy a budget computer though.  She would basically use it
for the internet/facebook, pictures, videos, and our budgeting/finances.  So she doesn't need anything fancy.  Oh and no fucking Mac's!!!

Should we head to Sams or get something online?

if you google laptops, you'll get better results. I'd hate for her to have to go to the lab everytime she needs to use it.

If it was a Labrador Retriever then it would be highly mobile though.

Somebody needs to post a pic of a computer strapped to a laborador's head.   That would be a labtop.

Kind of like the pancake bunny,  in terms of general composition.

I bought my daughter a Toshiba at Wal-Mart for $400, and I was shocked at how great it was for the price. It'll do everything you've posted, no problem.

Yep, I bought one for the wife and I was surprised how good it worked. Windows 7 64-bit, 4GB of RAM and 250GB hard drive. Basic system but it works.
