So it's been hitting 90+ here in AZ consistently and that means extra sweaty feet. In some years past if I wasn't careful I would get a heat rash on my feet, which is annoying, but otherwise was never a big deal.
I'd like to head that off by using a foot powder, but I've never actually researched or bought any before. Do I just buy baby powder, or one of those fancy gold bond ones? Any suggestions? |

Same for this AZ boy: never used foot power until overseas.
You're going to laugh, perhaps, but in Iraq and now in 'stan we get care packages with Gold Bond Foot Powder...and it actually works well. I'm not saying it's the only thing out there, but it's seeing a lot of use the "the" desert. |

Quoted:
Dr Scholls foot powder works pretty well, or you could use aluminum chloride and prevent the sweat altogether. Ehhh I don't want to go that far, seems like a bad idea. But for days like today, where I'll probably be in my shoes sweating for 8 hours straight I'd like to take some preventative measures. (running, yard work, moving a stack of firewood, street fair, going out drinking). |

Awesome, I figure if it works for you guys over there, it should be good to go here where my shoes breath more and it's not so hot. |

Yeah, but I can just imagine using it on my feet and having all the side effects occur. That would be just my luck.
