Quoted: Quoted: What is the story with his grip? Is that common in competition shooting? looks like the standard thumbs forward grip to me ... what you seein that looks off?Wow, strange. I just eyeballed my hands instead of my sights and it looks about the same. I guess I just never paid much attention, for some reason his right hand looked "off", but you're right. |

Note how fast the first two shots are on the "Smoke and Hope" stage. He had to be getting a split there of under .10 seconds. You can barely make out that there's two shots being fired.

He's better at that than I am at anything. He's a multi-time world champion at "that". If you liked to race cars, you'd have to be a Formula 1 champ to be as good at that as Sevigny is at shooting. If you were into skiing, you'd need a gold medal. If you were into MMA you'd need a picture on your wall of Fedor's broken corpse at your feet with your hand raised in victory. ETC. That's a dude at the top of the action pistol game. His performance isn't normal or even "good"...it's on a rare level where maybe half a dozen other people can claim to live. Maybe a dozen or so more can legitimately claim to have visited. |

Quoted:
How modified is that gun and what loads are being shot? Internally it's a stock G34 with his own design sights and a flared mag well added. I'm not sure about the loads being used, but I would imagine they're loaded to make the power factor required for an event like the Steel Challenge. |
