This gesture is English in origin. Hundreds of years ago when the French and English were at war, the French would cut off the fingers of the English bowmen when captured so they couldn't use their bows anymore. The English bowmen would therefore taunt the French across enemy lines by using this particular gesture.

Quoted: IMO when Asians do that it they are saying "oh god I wish I was American! I listen to American music and I buy American clothes and use American slang, please oh please can I just be American" (usually Japanese) And we got a bunch of weirdos that want to do the exact opposite. |

Quoted: Two bombs. You literally almost killed me, I had JUST started munching on a tortilla chip, and read that. The ensuing sharp chunks lodged in my throat and almost came out of my nose. It was quite painful. I suppose the moral of the story, is chew, swallow, THEN read. |
