I'm doing some work for a company, according to the contract they select and pay for my hotel... The cheapskates decided to pick the worst dump in the whole city, a motel where you park in front of your door... I just got a knock on my door, Knock, knock... (No peephole so I open the door.) Methhead: Heyyyyyyyyy, hows you doin? Me: Uh... Methhead: Yous lookin for some fun tonight? Me:  NO. (start to close the door)Methhead: (puts her foot in the door) $200, I'll do anything you want till midnight, anything. Me: No thanks, mind taking your foot out of the door? Methhead: I'll be back tomorrow if yous be still lookin for some fun. One more night here...

I have to often stay at cheap hotels. Large companies don't seem to care that a hotel is cheaper in the same city if it's in a bad area.
I've stayed at places where people got in fights right outside my door with broken beer bottles, and places where there is no lobby, you just slide your card under the glass, and they slide you a key. No fun. Stay safe, and keep the lights on when you go to sleep- it will keep the bugs from coming out as much. |
