I just got back from the chiropractor and witnessed a total WTF moment.. No there was no blading or draw downs. No one was rude or belligerent..
Here's what happened.. I am self employed and only carry catastrophic health insurance.. So I am a cash patient at the office.. Now I pay my $40.00 bucks for my adjustment and sit and wait.. Two guy( miners) come in both with blue cross premium insurance. their co-pay is $42.24.. It cost them .24 cent more to get the same thing done as me.. How do I know? Because I asked what they were getting done.. What the fuck is the point of paying premiums? |

Heard a caller on the radio one time talking about buying meds for his wife. Every month he spend something like $400 on copays. He decided to try an independent pharmacy and pay out of pocket. They're now paing $24 per month. This. A guy at work pays $50 copay for 2 medicines.Together out of pocket $30. We pay big $$$ for health ins every month. |

for me a chiro is a 'specialist' which has a higher copay.. $40 vs $25 BUT my specialist copay is $40 and the total bill from the chiro is about $37.50 per visit.. So the insurance doesnt cover anything, BUT helps go against my deductable.. Brian[/quot/] So does the whole $40 go towards your deductible or only the $2.50? |

As for the prescription thing, we use the $4.00 plan at walmart.. My GF was a HR at a big casino but lost her job in a down size in early 09.. She now does book keeping for a family owned feed store.. When she had insurance her daughters asthma meds were $103.00 billed with a $20.00 co pay.. Now its $4.00... Here is the funny part.. when my GF asked about $4.00 generic albuterol (while insured) she was told they didn't have it.. Now that she has no insurance to bill it is an option |

Riddle me who, riddle me why, answer me this Who owns the chains that bind your wrists Riddle me who, riddle me why, answer again Riddle me who built the machine That washed your brain Like parents did before them Your parents did the same They said do your best, you must pass the test You must learn to play the game They scrimped and saved and suffered To send you off to school But if they`d had the cash They could`ve brought the class And a different set of rules (Chorus) They taught a simple system Why they had and you had not They said know your place, you can`t win the race Life`s an auction you`re the lot If you`d ever thought to question They would never answer you why When they buy your sweat, you are in their debt And they own you till you die (Chorus) You took hook line and sinker Everything they fed Worked day and night, for most your life To earn their daily bread Now your old and weary And you lay you down to sleep With body worn and spirit torn What`s left is yours to keep |
