Most anti-gun men that I met in person during college were just doing their best to add to a rhetoric that they thought would get them laid with "guns are icky" anti-gun college hotties. For some, it developed into such a habit that they just bought into it. They usually think they can sound current, involved, intelligent and important and "anti-gun" is absolutely safe among the majority of females. They could care less what other men think about them as they spout that crap.
Others would happily spout that stuff where they could be heard by women and then they would go watch Heat and talk about how awesome Al Pacino's rifle was. I've met quite a few anti-gun males after college that were from places like NY, NJ, etc... but they didn't spout idiocy like that. They simply treated them like alien devices that are unnecessary. |
