If they take black dog mags it will be very attractive The one in that pic reminds me a bit of the S&W mags for my 15-22. Probably the same chassis.....different moulding for the furniture. Is that a happy switch on the clone Glock?.or just a safety? |

The pistol was interesting to handle, but I have not had a chance to shoot one.
The rifle I was handling earlier today. Pros: It looks great. The charging handle can be configured in SIX different positions. All the bells and whistles: Flip sights, rails, folding stock, etc. Not sure yet, but the magazine looks to be the same pattern as for the S&W 22. Cons: Some assembly required. Trigger sucks. Sounds like a pellet gun and does not cooperate with the mag safetey. Selector switch works in reverse. Cheek Riser sucks. Sights are too low. Muzzle is NOT threaded for a suppressor. |

There was a review on youtube i saw of the "SCAR" from some gun shop and they seemed to think it was decent. That is the first if seen of the .22 "Glock". I think i saw some threads in the rimfire section of the armory about the rifle. A friend of mine has the pistol-he got it below $200 from a dealer who claimed distributors were dumping them below cost because Glock is suing ISSC over the similarities in cosmetics. friend didn't buy because of the "ban" he bought it because it is a cool looking rimfire that was a good price. The gun has a somewhat exposed hammer that goes into a groove in what would be the backplate in a real Glock-you can see the spur in the pic. It is somewhat ammo picky but not as bad as some .22 autos. And yes, the thing that looks like a happy switch is a safety. |

Just saw this on the Palmetto Armory website and saw their 22 pistol made by ISSC-Austria http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg18/factorymikemx/1807.jpg $469 http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg18/factorymikemx/1774.jpg $199 Anyone familiar with this company I think I would like this more than a gsg. Handled one of the ISSC Glock copies. Same size as the G19, hammer fired (which you can't really see from the picture), I think it was SA/DA, but I could be wrong. Made in Austria, felt pretty solid all things considering. Finish on the pistol was reminiscent of thick, black paint. Safety felt kind of cheap. |
