Local ammo company mentioned in the paper...
http://missoulian.com/news/state-and-regional/article_214900ce-34dd-11e0-b7af-001cc4c002e0.html STEVENSVILLE - Business is booming in the Bitterroot Valley's ammo trade. Darren Newsom's Bitterroot Valley Ammunition and Components factories in Stevensville crank out a half-million rounds of ammo every day. Even with a 20 percent increase in price since the first of the year, sales have jumped by the same amount. |

I imagine Hunting Shack is enjoying the same good business. I've shot a lot of BVAC and HSM stuff. Good for them. I was just going to ask about their ammo as I have never shot any. I was reading some of the comments in the link and some people were complaining about their ammo while others were praising it. |

Lot of the guys I shoot USPSA/3 gun with use HSM ammo and components. Few of them are even sponsered by BVAC and HSM. I've really never heard a complaint about either. I finished off 1k of their .223 reloads last summer without a hiccup. YMMV of course. There was a thread a while back I remember about BVAC 9mm and some issues, but I don't remember the exact problems. |
