I have basically two columns that I want to make into a line chart. The columns are over 900 rows. The column that I want to use for the horizontal axis is a lot of numbers, ranging from <1 to 1700. Excel is calculating it's own intervals for that axis, and it's not at all what I need. Right clicking and going to "Format Axis" doesn't give me the option on the horizontal to pick and choose how I want the axis intervals to run unless I tell it that it's for dates. But, if I do that, it screws up all the labels. I'm usually pretty decent with Excel, but this is killing me right now.
Any ideas? |

Quoted:
Does Format Axis > Specify Interval Unit not do what you want? Nope. It sort of changed the label interval, but it didn't change the layout of the axis. In fact, it didn't even fully adjust the labels as I wanted. It's not giving me an option to specify the interval on the horizontal, only the vertical. |

Looks like the fuckers never thought of that possibility...
