I just get madder and madder at the islamic brother Dhimmitude –– What does it mean? Obama used it in the health care bill. Now isn't this interesting? It was used in the health care law. Every day there's another revelation of what Obama and his fellow Democrats are doing to our country. Dhimmitude –– I had never heard the word until now. Type it intoGoogle and start reading. Pretty interesting. It's on page 107 of the healthcare bill. I looked this up on Google and yep, it exists. It is a REAL word. Amish, scientologists, Christian scientists and Muslims are exempt ...ARE EXEMPT ...from the requirements of the health care bill. I think I could become Amish a whole lot easier than Muslim. Word of the Day: Dhimmitude Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam. ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking", and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this. How convenient. So I, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and evenaccounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhanwill have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize muslims. Period. This is Dhimmitude. Dhimmitude serves two purposes: It enriches the Muslim masters AND serves to drive conversions to Islam. In this case, the incentive to convert to Islam will be taken up by those in the inner-cities as well as the godless Generation X, Y, and Z types who have no moral anchor. If you don't believe in Christ to begin with, it is no problem whatsoever to sell Him for 30 pieces of silver. "Sure, I'll be a Muslim if it means free health insurance and no taxes. Where do I sign, bro?" I recommend sending this post to your contacts. This is desperately important and people need to know about it––quickly! Oh boy, more kookery - how fun. That aside, the states should challenge the health care bill on these exemptions as being illegal due to establishment of a religion, namely any of the ones who are exempt from the mandate. I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand - being religious doesn't grant you special, magic rights like not having to buy insurance like the rest of us. Just as it would be illegal to have a law that Amish, Muslims, and Jehovah's Witnesses (or whatever) and only them must pay a special tax, it's illegal to exempt them from shit the rest of us have to do. |

The whole fucking bill is unconstitutional, and thereby illegal as are most of the entitlements our government have foisted on us. |

My wife has never heard the word Dhimmi before, neither has one of her best friends from Algeria. Nor have they heard of the concept. They must not teach that stuff in North Africa. Probably went out of style about the time the residual non-Muslim population dropped to approximately zero. The Muslim conquest of the Mahgreb was a fun time for lots of people. |

The internet takes electricity. Thus, Lincoln could not have known about the internet. 15jonshoot's quote is bullshit. BTW, the above is why I don't let my students quote wiki or use it as a reference. |

There's no body language or varied intonation to judge intent from, so we're left trying (often futilely), to work it out through context. A wide variance in ability to communicate via the written word complicates things further. I've enjoyed this sort of format for many years. It's an incredible experiment in sociology. |

I thought 15jonshoot's joke was amusing.
Sherrick's "proving him wrong" was funny. His citing of Wikipedia, and then adding that he would not accept Wikipedia as a source from any of his students (because it is not always factual) was hilarious. My request for clarification on the word sarcasm, well, that was sarcasm. Which was, of course, met with "Didn't you read the link?"
Laughter is good for the soul. I'm gettin' me some right here. |

It's no surprise, considering that "dhimmitude" has the same relation to Muslims that the "new world order" has to bankers and politicians. Which is to say, it's something that fruit cake paranoid nutcases are obsessed with believing other that people are obsessed with, in spite of the fact that it's all in their heads. |

The word gullible isn't listed in the dictionary either. |
