Is freakin cool....
Just bought one of those Netflix Blue Ray players.... Best $98 I ever spent This technology is a real game changer.... |

How well does it work over a home wireless network?
I had an Xbox360 and tried to stream some video from Xbox Live a few times and it was so slow and choppy as to make it completely unwatchable. ButI was able to play online games on 360 no problem .... Any diff with the Netflix service? |

Is there a difference in quality between the netflix streamed over a blue ray or PS3 compared to streaming on your laptop and running into the tv with an HDMI cable?
We have a decent laptop with HDMI out but the quality of the picture on the tv kinda sucks, just wondering if its any better with a PS3 or Blue ray player |

I might have to give it a second chance ... I'd been doing Blockbuster by mail for the last couple years which was worth it because they allowed in-store exchanges (could get 3-4 movies a week that way) but my local store suddenly closed down at the end of the year, so now most of the value of it is gone, plus I pay more for service that I don't have access to any longer. Cheaper monthly rate plus instant access is pretty attractive. |

I have a laptop with a bluray player, hooked up to the HDTV via HDMI the picture is the same as the dedicated bluray picture as far as my eyes are concerned and the TV is concerned. I have a netbook that does not support bluray, it does have HD video and HDMI outputs. I can't tell the difference between the video image from either the laptop and the netbook. I use the netbook as my Netflix streaming device. |
