Was at a gunshow and looking for a MagPul rail mounted flip up from sight to match my MagPul BUIS. Anyway, I saw that this guy that sells uppers & parts had some flip up sights.

I asked him if he had any MagPul, he said No, I only have Yankee Hill.

Then he enlightened me that MagPul's weren't any count because they would melt and any sights less than $75 in value weren't worth having.

I wanted to tell him, "hey genious, you get anything hot enough it will melt".

So there you have it, tactical tupperware sucks from a profeshnal vendor.

I have to ask, did you expect more? I gave up on gun shows by the tenth one I went too. Turns out there are more "former seals" at gunshows than there are active duty sailors now days.

Morons can sell gun accessories,
they just can't do it intelligently.

I had a gun show vendor tell me that the 'SF' version Glock's meant 'Special Forces'

There were a pile of them there and every single one I saw had someone finger banging it.

I just can't see the attraction.

i walked into an army navy store today looking for some jerry cans, and some guy asked "whats the best gun for home defense" and the guy at the counter goes "taurus judge" my eyes just bug out... i have heard these gun shop stories, but never really experienced one first hand like this. i watch the guy sit there and become mesmerized by the fact that you can shoot a .410 and .45lc through a shitty taurus revolver.... i told him to make sure to alternate bird shot and slugs as buckshot was not any good because it could over penetrate and kill his neighbors... fucking retard bought the gun and a box of bird shot shells.

So the dealer was an ass because he recommended a Judge to a newbie to make a sale.  OK.

So you compound the joke by telling him to buy birdshot because...why?

You don't come off to well in your story.

I warned my mother about Judges being pushed at the shops in Florida/Southern Georgia and sure enough, every place she went into:  "Yall know whatcha need?  A JUDGE!   It's like a mini-shotgun."

The internet is my gunshow now.

I think I have been to about 4 in the past five years or so.  I did get a hell of a deal on a CMMG rifle one time.  I only really needed the upper, but I used the lower to my brother and my nephew a new toy.

why was the dealer an ass? the dealers were actually very nice people. i was clearly kidding around with the guy, which you wouldnt know because you werent there. i would say more, but the CoC prevents me and all.

i did not think he would take my birdshot joke seriously, his problem if he did. counter guy was trying to sell him 00 buckshot shells and 45LC.

maybe its you who doesnt come off well in your post, by not being able to comprehend what you read?

Ummmm, I did not tell him what I wanted to do with it.

I was not looking to put it on the gasblock (which my 9mm ar does not have) but on the rail on my 9MM AR pistol.

Better now?
