Took the wife out to the range yesterday. I took my AR, FAL, and like 4 pistols, and we had a blast (aside from my wife being a lane hog [:)]) There was a guy there with some nice full-auto stuff. He was on the pistol range next to us, and I went and struck up a conversation with him. Talked about his hardware, how difficult (or easy!) it was to get a CLEO signoff in our area. One of the nicest guys I've met out at a range as of yet. Anyway, we (the wife and I) blew through a bunch of ammo (I really need to get her an AR of her own) and had just a fabulous time. I'll have to get her out with me more often. Just wanted to share a good experience with y'all. Thanks for listening. -Gloftoe |

I did manage to put about a hundred rounds through the Glocks and the Beretta. I do need to start going to the "other" range that does not share the same line for pistol and rifle. When someone is shooting a rifle I'm stuck shooting from 25 yards. It did get me to shoot my Glock 36 from 25 yards. I was surprised at how accurate it was. I also got to shoot some of the Danish (I think) Nato 9mm I got from Eric. Good stuff. |
